Putting Gonso on a model is essentially declaring your model will no longer have extensive amount of support as much as booth bases do (meaning they are built to die) and you will never be able to make your own outfits, let alone fit any outfits to the model- ever- as all model parts are in a .asset

If a model is using Gonso, I expect it to be perfect and devoid of any bugs whatsoever, so we feel cheated out of a product that would have otherwise been fine if it had no Gonso system preventing us from fixing outright bugs and problems.

It’s so bad the model has de-synced animators and parameters that we are more than competent at fixing but everything is compressed into autogenerated-zzz files and so on that it’s not worth the trouble effort or anything else to buy models that utilize this DRM. It’s severely limiting and awful.

It’s bad. We bought this model and it never listed it was using Gonso. My partner loved it so much and got it hoping he’d be able to edit major parts of the model and remote certain animators to make it club compatible and so on, but you can’t change anything on the model strawbunnyvr.com/b/rinoniko

I genuinely believe Gonso needs to add a clause to their product that if someone is going to use it that the creator MUST disclose it on the page of the avatar that is being sold. This is extremely anti-consumer, deceptive, and I’m not having it.

This experience has put a bad taste in my mouth and I now have an overall dissatisfaction with the Gonso system as the customer for non-disclosure, especially if said TOS only says “newer models” as if that interpretive meaning serves some stable foundation in any way.

Nightmare ass scenario where partner and I get a model and it’s using that dogshit “model protection” but they don’t disclose it on the main page, so we can’t edit the model.

But they only disclosed it on their TOS.

Legitimately? Shame on you.

‼️I’m not paying for/giving you business/using your products if you use that dumbass Gonso system on non refundable purchases, especially if you don’t disclose on the main page of the model (and NOT just your TOS) that you’re using Gonso.

I’m ngl a lot of the nsfw I do isn’t even for self pleasure it’s because I get off on the idea of my characters getting off. Perchance I am weird~
