Just had an enlightenment about CSS View transitions. They are much more powerful than I thought AND much easier to use!
You really only have to give your element a unique view-transition-name. This has to be consistent across all pages the element appears on. That’s it!

Thinking about adding proportional numbers to my monospace font for maximum confusion
Thank you! I’ll check!
If I quote according to all the demands in these briefings, the quote gets unrealistically high quickly. As a result, more communication work is needed nowadays to get to a realistic agreement for both sides.
Observation: Some of the briefings I get sent for potential design/dev projects became much more extensive and detailed in the last 1–2 years, often including adjacent tasks that are not typically part of my service offering. I think this is AI influence.
Yes, but my question is more about the image generation. I’d like to generate a custom image according to the user’s content and type/color choices.
Misunderstanding, I think: I am the founder. I’m looking for a way to automatically include a proper open graph image into every generated file, without adding another file to the download. :)

Nice to see Scope used throughout the BoKoMaT event for the second time! The colloquium took place in September 2025 at Ruhr University Bochum.
This is harder than you might think! But it’s a lot of fun.
Wondering if there’s a way to automatically generate Open Graph images for temper.one sites.
That would be cool, but it seems tricky to achieve within temper’s one-HTML-file-only philosophy 🤔

Marblis by Fincker Font Cuisine can now be used, as well as Indicate Mono Condensed by my foundry.
It’s updated on the microsite as well now → fictional-typeface.com
I updated Fictional for a better differentiation between the letters t and ł. f has been updated as well. Along with these changes, I further improved spacing and kerning.

After spending way too much time crafting typographic favicons for jonastype.com, I’m now back at a red circle 🤷♂️

Another beautiful typeface use: For a class at @uqam.ca, Félix Cloutier created an analog typographic visualization of the 1957 French film comedy “Les Lavandières du Portugal”, using only Indicate Mono. Supervised by Daniel Robitaille of Paprika.
