2/2 Advent has opened the floodgates. I’m crying every day and had my first “big cry” today. I’m only posting to say—trauma lives in the body and won’t be ignored. Also, trauma is spiritual, and Jesus cares about our hurts even when even our church families don’t.

We’re halfway through the dark.

1/2 I went through an extremely traumatic situation beginning in late spring of this year that had recurring fires I had to put out for weeks/months following. I still don’t know if I’m done with it. To survive, I suppressed my emotions. But…
