Named for Audrey & Theodor Geisel (Dr Seuss) for generous contributions to library & devotion to improving literacy. (Photo of whole not mine.)

A kitchen counter full of plants: tomatoes, lettuce, bok choy, alpine strawberries, and several herbs.

Current state of the left side kitchen garden. After pruning! 😮

Micro Gourd is going to have a baby! If we can get it fertilized and keep the plant alive.

Tiny cucumber growing.

Found this tiny strawberry after pruning the hydro plants a bit. There will be more; now we might find them!

The parsley cell I removed from the hydro system. Saved some in the refrigerator.

For me it would all depend on what the cat would enjoy more! 🤭

A test 3D print with a bunch of tiny points on top, demonstrating a huge problem with stringing. It looks like a bunch of three sided pyramids wrapped in taffy. The material is gold silk PLA.

The same 3D test print, but now the stringing is just about gone and we can see the individual pyramids clearly.

Before and after. Print temperature, retraction settings, nozzle wipe settings, plus a total of 16 hours in the filament dryer. Easy! 😰

This is brilliant! I’ll definitely try it.

🤷‍♀️ It’s never really made sense to me. I remember the past fondly too, but I was a kid at the time! I didn’t have a lot of problems, and I didn’t *see* a lot of problems, either. Or didn’t understand their implications.

Their inaccurate impressions of the past?

We'll start by lowering the temperature quite a bit; once that's dialed in we'll adjust retraction etc.

3D model designed to test how stringy this filament is. Then we'll print with it, and adjust the settings until it no longer looks terrible.

The model is a circle with six triangular pyramids on it. Kind of a worst case for stringing issues.

First test print. Suspicions confirmed: the settings are completely out of whack for this particular filament. Now, we tune!

Stringy Sunday morning... 😱

I'm not a fan. I think I can put up with it until Apple realizes their mistake. We'll see.

It’s usually the universe telling me to put down the phone and go to sleep! 😆

Maybe because I pick my follows too carefully; I’m never bored but sometimes my brain is full. Or empty. 🤪

Learning the mysteries of OrcaSlicer and doing weird things in OpenSCAD. Up next, gardening related HomeAssistant stuff on ESP32 (because I keep forgetting to turn on/off the non automated grow lights).

Ok, but, also depends on how sleepy I am! 🤭🫂🥱

I tended to use Aveeno baby shampoo. Scented, but only lightly.

So they just get trims, not pigshoes?
