Nicotine & Tobacco Research, the journal of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco, is seeking three experienced nicotine/tobacco researchers to join the editorial board of the journal as Associate Editors.

Associate Editors have typically been reviewers for journals for a few years and have a solid knowledge base in nicotine and tobacco research. We are seeking Associate Editors with specific expertise in qualitative methods; systematic reviewing, particularly review approaches in addition to meta-analysis; and mendelian randomisation.

Associate Editors with specialist methodological expertise may be asked to provide targeted specialist review on manuscripts where it is deemed that this is necessary. They are typically either invited to provide a review by an Associate Editor, or their input is requested by a Deputy Editor.

Associate Editors serve for an initial 3-year term, which may be renewed for a further 3 years up to twice (i.e., three terms in total). Last year, Associate Editors handled an average of 7 manuscripts each.
