Fun fact - yesterday was Blaze Alexander's 1st career game in RF.
He's now played every position on the field other than P, C, & 1B
And all but those + LF for the Orioles 23 games into the season.

What an absurd win ๐
Bradish had some bad luck and wasn't sharp all wrapped up in one; but battled!
Bats were awful until Basallo saved us twice.
Pen was good till Foster.
It works lol.
Get another tomorrow.
Brutal way for KC to drop their 8th straight lol
Hmmm .. maybe like 2-5 times a year depending on the year??
Not common but not unheard of!

Today was Dean Kremer's 44th career quality start. That ties him with Dylan Bundy for the most with the Orioles in the past 10 years (2017-2026)

Mini Milestones Game 19 Edition
Blaze Alexander: 150th career game played
Cameron Foster: Major League Debut; 1st career strikeout
Tyler Wells: 300th career strikeout

Baz I'm not concerned over. He's showing excellent stuff & fight to keep things from snowballing even if the results are average so far.
He's currently a mid rotation guy with ace potential. His extension was what a mid rotation guy gets. It works .. hopefully he keeps improving
Tough because I love the fight in the 9th .. but also the bats were so lifeless the first 8 & a loss & 3 game losing streak after your highest point in 2 seasons are bummers no matter how you lose
This team is better & different than 2025 - but still more we need to see.
Mini Milestones Game 18 Edition

Kyle Bradish: 400th career strikeout

9-7
What a freaking win!
A genuine team win -- but also hats off to JJ and Alonso!
And the 1st place Orioles move to 2 games over .500 for the 1st time since the last game of the 2024 season ๐ณ
Yep!
2 earned, 2 unearned
People will probably be annoyed that I'm saying it; but Dean had a decent start to his season today
2 ERs over 5 - would have gotten 6, or 7, later in the yr with a higher pitch count
9Ks 0 BBs
The HRs yes (though Marte's 1st was absurd) but not bad from your 5 to start the yr
This bad boy arrived today

8-7!
5-1 in the last 6 is such a nice feeling.
Povich shoved.
Basallo and Alonso both shaking off the early season rust, which will make our lineup so much more dangerous. Mayo with a clutch hit too.
After the Yankees lose their 5th straight we're tied for 1st!
I think Povich is currently the 6th man, Young the 7th. No matter how today goes. Kremer up soon.
But I also know SPs just have a lot of growing pains. Wouldnt be surprised to see both much better this yr than last, and that would be awesome.
We'll see them both a decent bit.
The whole team has also seen a ton of off-speed stuff .. which just naturally slows the bat some too + small sample sizes.
If youre worried about some of the slow starters, Alonso should be bottom of that list.
People have said theyre worried about Pete Alonso's slow start because his bat speed is down a little.
But the whole point of bat speed is to hit the ball hard, and he's never hit the ball harder.
He's just a streaky hitter with a slow 13 game start in a new city. It'll even out
