Does anyone know of a Game Box Art database online somewhere?
I want to use it for some experiments I'm working on

Yep! Hopefully pass it along to someone who will enjoy it more than I. I'm surprised what people are asking for it online. I put it up on marketplace for like, 70$ CAD π
I'm hoping to open up some room for new figures and statues!
I think it is finally time to part with this old thing π
A few years ago I inherited a bunch of my mom's old books, and I didn't realize this one is a 1891 State of California Anatomy book
What do I even do with it in this condition

For my fellow armour enthusiasts in the #cosplay community, what are your tips for surviving the heat when wearing something that covers every part of the body?
I'd like to make a return to armoured cosplay, but I dread going into something like that. Guts was already hot enough
One of these days I'll dare to cosplay this. One day

One of the things I love about much of our collection is that it was *used*. These aren't pristine devices but ones with rich, coloured history built by the countless staff who used them.
That includes the chips, scrapes and stickers!
I made the reckless decision to try and make both a Chainmail shirt from scratch, but also the Chainmail rings themselves from scratch
To help out, I built this dinky little contraption to help me spin the wire (Dowel will get spun by a drill)

Please add your name to the metadata of files you create. Archiving teams can use it to properly attribute material back to you, even if the company technically owns it
It's incredibly difficult to track authorship once it leaves your hands!

God I love people who keep these things alive and well
One day I hope to get clearance to share more photos of all this cool stuff, especially the devices that have never actually been seen by
the public before. Sadly, it will likely be a very long time though as I need to operate by the book
The dream lives on though
Had an avengers moment at work today
We found this strange prototype device in the R&D office that had unknown origins. Sent it to the Internal PSS preservation channel, and eventually learned its origins!

As much as folks might debate GDC this year, I'm genuinely ecstatic I saw and got to meet so many students there
Game dev can be a lonely journey, especially in an industry that tends to churn and burn. The new generations shouldn't feel alone going in
MS archivist said that it's supposedly a rarer version of the kit, but the exact origin is unknown
Jokes aside, they pulled off a dope museum and I adored walking through it. Kudos to them for putting this together for GDC!
I preserved at EA. I preserved at PlayStation
