That's what we are currently doing, which does work well but isn't sustainable as he progresses further up the school and into secondary, so we're trying to find other strategies that could help him, which he could continue to use.

They were last year but are not anymore
I have a Y5 child with sensory needs, including rolling on the floor/lying on their belly. They work really well when this sensory need is met. Is there a way I could replicate this whilst they are sat at a desk? I've tried wobble cushions but they don't seem to have the same effect! #eduskyprimary
One good thing about going back to school is that I have less free time to online shop ๐คฃ it's been 6 weeks worth of parcels!
Thank you for your reply. I think this is one of my concerns as I've only just completed my ECT and starting new roles in subject leadership this year which I haven't done before so don't want to take on too much as once!
Thank you! I think the NPQSENco seems to be a much better fit looking at this ๐ซ
Really looking forward to it! I also have my old Y3 class back ๐ซ
Hi! Hope you're having a nice break ๐ซ
Really wanting to develop my skills and knowledge in inclusion and SEND but unsure whether to do a part-time masters at uni or an NPQSL. Is there anyone that has done either and can give me some advice? ๐

Hello!
First post on here so thought I'd introduce myself! ๐
I will be a Y5 Teacher in September, previously in Y3 and Y6. I will also be taking on the role of RE leader in September!
I'd love to chat about all things Y5 and RE to prepare me for September โค๏ธ
