ESP with regards to making Shadar-kai and making character decisions.
As I'm working on my Raven Queen homebrew, I grabbed the 4e Manual of the Planes, and I appreciate it a lot in terms of general Shadowfell lore.
5e describes it very vaguely, making it hard to really grasp what it looks/feels like, but 4e provides specific details that are extremely helpful.
full body of meras sona, a strange anthro cross of Nyala, blue tounged skink, and maned wolf, though these are undercut with a diluted purple pallete. they have a tri split tail, one large segment and two smaller ones which have mouths and blue tongues sticking out. their hooves are a pale yellow along with their horns, and they have vibrant purple eyes. The Small version of them has a darker base coat and less patterns along with dark scaled along its back.
Its all fun and games until there's no more ink to play in- a little refresher for my sona 💜 a little more mera-y for the base, and still a puntable simple little beast

I know it's selfish of me to think so, but idk it sucks to feel like no one wants to be around you.
At some point, it stops feeling like people are genuinely busy; it just seems like I'm just not worth the time.
I think it also sets me off because all my friends' groups manage to play regularly, but anytime I ask when we're playing next, it's always excuses. I know it's mostly because of life/work balance. And DMing is different, but it feels the same. It just feels like I'm not fun to play with.
Today's D&D session was cancelled, and it's set me off. I'm not angry at anyone; it's just that it always fucking happens to me, I can't seem to be able to enjoy my favorite hobby because the universe hates me.
