Mine was under Settings > Copilot > Features. I should really probably move off GitHub at this rate, and Microsoft as a whole.

Yo, indie devs making games with PS1 aesthetics...
please put in a setting in your game to TURN OFF the integer/floating point wobble effect
sincerely,
a gamer who grew up with a PS1
i think my best game dev advice is:
don't try to create your own physics collision system.. just use a prebuilt physics engine, even if you only end up using a fraction of it
unless you're a physics wiz/just really want to
my second best advice:
don't attempt the above in GameMaker
Anodyne is THE game that got me into game dev! I have yet to play the second, been in the backlog for some time
every day I get a little closer to transforming myself into a video game

These are awesome!! (also had no idea Godot has light mode, I kinda like it)
Hey! Thank you so much!! Progress is coming along, expect more from me in a few months :)
I didn't plan it this way, but today is #screenshotsaturday and I just put out my first devlog on YouTube!

youtu.be/X3xwTnyYR5k?...
making background music is way harder than I anticipated
been playing some real "video-game" games lately
beat Contra: Galuga local co-op
now Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
want to check out Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Marvel: Cosmic Invasion, Streets of Rage 4, maybe Scott Pilgrim
these modern 2D arcade types friggin rock
lol more importantly I could probably finish making my game in that time
A few underrated indie games I like:
Anodyne
Valdis Story: Abyssal City
Vicious Attack Llama Apocalypse
TrenchBroom is awesome!!
making some 3D maps for fun

fairly confident if I had 1-2 months off I could get through by backlog at a leisurely pace
ok they gave us Rayman 2 just in time for holiday break, not bad
Totally forgot to put Silent Hill 2 remake in this list, though the length kind of killed it for me. Otherwise a unique experience
I read an early preview on Routine and saw it has just released, I'll have a look at it!
more; Games released or announced in 2025 which I intend to play:
Crow Country
Blue Prince
Darwin's Paradox
Doom: The Dark Ages
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Resident Evil Requiem
Borderlands 4
Honorable mention to The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, but I had previously played up until the tri-force shard quest before. Replayed and beat the whole game, it really falls apart at that point IMO.
My 2025 GOTY games 🎮
Metal Gear Solid
Onimusha: Warlords
Borderlands 2
The Last of Us Part I & II
Uncharted 1-3
Viewfinder
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Portal Stories: Mel
Portal: Revolution
I played some absolute bangers this year which I had not yet previously played.
also also, if you play the PS4 version go into the settings and set aspect ratio to 4:3. The default 16:9 setting stretches all the pre-rendered backgrounds and makes them blurry, 4:3 does not stretch them and they are so damn pretty, huge world of difference
playing Onimusha for the first time ever. I can't believe I didn't play this as a teenager, 14 year old me would have been obsessed with this game. It's really good
also glad to hear the new one is basically a modernized version, not a stupid ass souls-like. I said what I said
samurai residentevil
speaking into a microphone and then editing it for a video can really show ya how bad you suck at talking
Nintendo put Silicon Valley on the N64 Switch catalog you cowards, and Body Harvest
Animal Well. I need six more eggs!
While playing Super Mario Odyssey last night it dawned on me that Animal Well is also a collectathon. I need like, six more eggs? Last ones are frustratingly hard to find.
Are games heavily influenced by Hyper Light Drifter called Hyper-Lights? Hyper-Likes?
