Correction: Short range mode is actually 8 degrees, not 6. I got that part mixed up with Luna's buff. Point still stands for less reliance on Intensify action though.
This still pisses me off
Custom Range Blaster • Added 1 year and 9 months after launch despite being a Splatoon 1 weapon (also the last blaster to get a second kit) • 1 small main weapon buff after 7 years of nothing (reverted 9 months later) • 2 main weapon nerfs, went 200p to 210p, and Kraken Royale nerfed within 3 months • Only got one sticker to differentiate it from Range Blaster when other second kits got way more. • Needs at least .9AP of Intensify Action for reliable jump shots (1.0AP for Blasters other than Luna and S-BLAST is worth less than .3AP is for everything else by the way) S-BLAST '91 • Added ONLY 6 MONTHS after S-BLAST '92 was added • 4 notable main weapon buffs over the course of 1 year • Went 190p to 200p and got 2 main weapon nerfs, but Booyah Bomb still got buffs • Got a distinct colour-scheme from '92 • Doesn't need Intensify since the long range shots are reliable and the short range shots only have 6 degrees of scatter (most Blasters have 8 degrees), gear is only really restricted by Ink Saver Sub.

The ink consumption buff makes it possible for Range to have 3 shots after throwing a Splat or Suction Bomb with 1 sub of Sub Saver
Luna Blaster/Luna Blaster Neo - Decreased time it takes to get to maximum speed when swimming Blaster/Custom Blaster/Gleamz Blaster - Reduced the scatter of shots midair by approximately 40%. (10° -> 6°) - Also made midair shot-scatter reduction from the Intensify Action gear ability easier to activate even with a smaller number of gear abilities. - Reduced the amount of ink consumed by approximately 5% (10% -> 9.5%) Range Blaster/Custom Range Blaster - Reduced the scatter of shots midair by approximately 25%. (8° -> 6°) - Also made midair shot-scatter reduction from the Intensify Action gear ability easier to activate even with a smaller number of gear abilities. - Reduced the amount of ink consumed by approximately 5% (11% -> 10.5%)
