Mother Foucault's Bookshop announced it purchased its Central Eastside building at the end of January for $1.6M.

Owner Craig Florence told me last July that buying the building protected the business from increasing rent costs and expand its programming.

This video of what appears to be the wife of the woman who was shot and killed by ICE today, taken immediately after the shooting, is one of the most horrifying things I've seen in a while. I'm speechless. I hope this woman is safe right now.
