15/ The pairs on the map are: Svarog (9640566, sketchy) & Pioner 1 ( IMO 9319870, sanctioned) and Nissos Antimilos (IMO 9895226, sketchy) & Spring (IMO 9315446, sanctioned). Maini (IMO 9319870, sanctioned) has paired up with another sanctioned boat but I am not able to see which one.

14/Next stop on our journey is the area South of Cyprus, a well known area for ship-to-ship transfer of Russian oil. As we see from the figure, several sketchy boats have paired up with boats that are sanctioned in this area.
You can now see my mapping of the Russian shadow fleet at Fleetleaks: fleetleaks.com/maps/russian...
Thanks a lot to @fleetleaks.bsky.social he is doing some really amazing work and deserves a following. Check his website: fleetleaks.com.
New sketchy boat registered: Metro Livas (IMO 1017050). It recently visited the Primorsk terminal, close to St. Petersburg. Currently anchored outside Grand Canari Island. Flag: Greece. Manager: Metrostar, Athens. Owner: Tymfi, Athens.
For more details about the four shadow fleet boats hit today, check this article: fleetleaks.com/drones-hit-t...
yup
UK might board shadow fleet tankers. However, just making passage through the English Channel or the Gibraltar Strait (also controlled by the UK) more difficult by lengthy inspections of cargo and insurance documents, could also be effective in cutting off supplies.
Four oil tankers attacked by drones today outside Novorossiysk have been added to the shadow fleet database. (Blue= sanctioned boats; Yellow = recently visited Russian oil terminal; Red=attacked by Ukraine). Map provided by: fleetleaks.com
Thanks! Of course, boats that are following the border to be out of the reporting area seem very sketchy?
Russian and Chinese ships around Greenland today
Trump claims that Greenland is surrounded by Chinese and Russian ships but it seems like Norway need protection more...
(the map shows Chinese and Russian ships only)
13/ After passing the English Channel, most boats continue through the Gibraltar Strait, heading for the Suez Channel. However, a few takes the longer route to Asia around Africa, or go directly to customers in Africa and South America, not going through Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea.
12/ On the way from Murmansk and Saint Petersburg to the customers in Asia, most of the Russian oil is transported through the English Channel, but some ships from Murmansk takes the trip west of the UK.
Pacific Moon is one of the newly added sketchy boats. It is not sanctioned by the EU. Itis currently anchored outside Ust-Luga, a Russian oil terminal in the Baltic Sea. Recent ports include Xiuyu in China. It is owned and managed by companies located in Gurugram, India.
I have included tankers from sketchy.boats in the map and changed the legend.
Blue: Sanctioned by the EU; Red: Have been attacked by Ukraine; Grey: Boats registered in Russia; Orange: Sketchy Boats that are not in any of the categories above.
Is there a place I can download the list, preferably as csv?
Do you have a watchlist, ships that have not been sanctioned but probably are part of the Russian shadow fleet?
11/ The international waters east of Gothland is often used for ship-to-ship transfer of oil from Ust-Luga and the Saint Peterburg terminal.
Thanks! Will include it in the thread I am making about the shadow fleet
What are they doing?
🔎 Since July, the oil tanker LEO II has been circling aimlessly off the coast of Cyprus 🇨🇾.
Commercial delay? Technical issue?
Neither: she’s playing a key role in bypassing sanctions on Russian oil 🇷🇺, all while appearing to stand still.
Let’s break it down 🧵
#Bunkertankers #Zircone IMO 9010929 #IMO9010929 and #Rina IMO 9152820 #IMO9152820 having been busy last couple of years. Especially off #Skaw #Skagen #DK #Denmark and in international waters east of #Gotland #SE #Sweden

10/ Ust-Luga has been attacked by Ukrainian drones twice in 2025, and is apparently not running on full capacity.
9/ The largest oil terminal is at Ust-Luga, 40 km from the Esonian border. Approximately three times as much oil is shipped from here compared to the terminal in Saint Petersburg.
8/ Most of the shadow fleet tankers that are passing through the narrow strait under the Øresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden are heading for the oil terminals near Saint Petersburg, Russia.
7/ Apparently many shadow fleet tankers are dropping of the map when getting into Danish waters, citing security concerns. However, some can still be tracked.
Only one shadow fleet tanker registered nearby Tuapse during the attack: Aditya, unknown flag. It was last in port near Istanbul, Turkey. Owned and managed by Centauri Services in Dubai.
6/ Moving Southwards, we take a detour into the Baltic Sea, through the narrow straits of Denmark
5/ Eight of the ships are registered under Russian flag, three by Oman, one at Vanuatu and one at the Comoros.
4/ Currently 13 shadow fleet tankers are known to be in the vicinity of Murmansk. 11 are banned by the EU (blue), but two are not: Ararat (IMO 9171187) and Pioneer (IMO 9255282)
