I loved the audio book, thanks for the recommendation @garrettc.social. I managed to listen to it all before watching the movie, and I'm really glad that I did.
I got the book from the BorrowBox app that the libraries down here in Cornwall use to lend ebooks and audiobooks (for free 🕺)

Yeah that's interesting. I've long found a thing with getting less helpful feedback if the level of fidelity is too high. That's where I've often found things like Marvel clickable stuff from paper on a phone or Balsamiq helpful (I have no idea if either of those things still exists)

Nearly 2 years on the road in ambulances and I've reached the (personal, zero research done) opinion that loneliness is a massive issue that plays a significant role in a significant number of health calls (emergency and otherwise)...
