Wearing my new autumn colors cardigan, started in October. It's a long sleeve cardigan in olive green stockinette with tan buttons. There's about a 3-inch band of rusty orange, olive, and cream fair isle color work around the yoke. Pattern Tin Can knits Classic Cardigan, yarn Lion brand Basic Stitch. First time doing an added button band.
Finally finished the fall cardigan by sewing on the buttons (done otherwise for 3 weeks)
Brings finished sweaters to 8 (!) this year. Plus 3 pairs of socks. Truly has been my emotional support knitting & that's all I'll say about that.

My most petty hatering thing of today - cooking videos/ tiktoks whatever where they are transferring batter/sauce anything from one pan to another and they don't just use a spatula. Silicon spatula is your tool for this thing, not scrape scrape scrape tiny lines with a round stirring spoon garhgh.

When my mom died, I spent (maybe a week? Not too long) seeing the world in hyper focus, hyper detail, and also had repeated disassociation for the first time I'm aware of. Like grief can shake the brain from familiar overlays and instead you move though the world/people/things like it's all new.
