i just have crazy reaction sensitivity dysphoria, (from what my psychologist friend assumes) a SPRINKLE of insecure BPD, and often overestimate what “mean lesbian” (WHO IS MY FRIEND) usually entails, thats my own problem y’all are fine lol.

i always get a little afraid at first when a lesbian says they’re mean to men, but then i actually have it happen to me and realize it means that they just check my shit when they get annoyed and make good-humored non-cruel jokes at my expense.

i’ve found that when a lesbian i’m friends with implies she’ll be mean to me bc i’m a man, the meanness only ever reaches slightly above normal “standoffish cxs guy” rudeness, and i can tell there’s no real heat behind it.

like she just doesn’t cater to me emotionally lol.

when you have an extremely sociologically distinct group when taking stats based on reproductive organs, you fuck up the data completely. not a single statistician alive would go “yeah this group of women belongs with cxs men, makes for perfectly clean data.”

even placing trans peoples statistics directly within those of cxs people of our gender yields wildly inaccurate data, trans people deserve to be recognized socially as what we are, but *sociologically* as our own violently targeted groups Because We Are by every single metric.

trans people are a distinct group sociologically speaking and everyone knows it. even transphobes. everyone knows the difference between a trans woman and a man, there are extremely identifiable factors, different experiences, and markedly *DIFFERENT BEHAVIORS.*

they know that trans people are violently oppressed, and they’re biting at the chance to make that unknowable to anyone but us and those who know us.

Gender identity House Bill 229 will define a man and a woman based on reproductive organs. As the Texas Tribune reported, the law, which will apply those definitions across state statutes, will "bolster an already existing block from state agencies on changes to gender markers on state documents." In addition to defining a man and a woman, the law also pertains to how vital statistics are collection by the government. The law says "a governmental entity that collects vital statistics information that identifies the sex of an individual for the purpose of complying with antidiscrimination laws or for the purpose of gathering public health, crime, economic, or other data shall identify each individual as either male or female."

any statistician or sociologist worth their salt in Texas right now should be fucking fuming.

tbh at this point my community is just the people i agree with and/or surround myself with. i dont feel a particular affinity for trans men (over trans women i mean) so much as i feel an affinity for talking about our oppression. i do socially prefer people of a trans experience but ehhh.
