Grateful for this thoughtful reflection on Last & First Men: "A performance where dance, film, music and architecture intertwine and make each other stronger." I'm deeply interested in how artforms (and artists) can meet to create a shared experience. Thank you for engaging so openly with the work.

We wanted to turn an everyday shopping trip into something delightfully weird and unforgettable.

Feeling emotional bringing Last and First Men home to the South West next month. We’ve just come from Melbourne's incredible RISING fest, & now we’re heading to the iconic @bristolbeacon.bsky.social.
This venue means a lot, as does Bristol's creative spirit ♥️ Can’t wait to share this work with you.
Thank you Hinton Mag for this thoughtful piece on the collaborative process of reimagining an incredible #JóhannJóhannsson work (Last & First Men) for the stage. Collaboration is at the heart of Neon Dance, and this project has been particularly special. Coming to @bristolbeacon.bsky.social in Sep!
Are you a creative in Newcastle, enthused about engaging local communities? We’d love to talk!
We’re on the lookout for a Cultural Connector to support our show Last and First Men at Dance City. If you're well-connected, love the arts, and want to help build inclusive audiences, this is for you.
We've been sitting with everything shared in the recent #BeyondBarriers webinar. A powerful reminder that inclusion in dance isn't optional - it's everyone's responsibility. As a company who already focus on pathways into dance, there's going to be a lot to reflect on and start implementing here!
We've been busy doing interviews this month ahead of Neon's performance at RISING #Melbourne. "It’s an immersive experience that plunges audiences into a dreamlike meditation on time, legacy and extinction." ◀️ Have a read if you're interested in finding out more about Last and First Men! #Dance
Can't wait to represent #Swindon in #Melbourne next month!
As a #dancer, I never miss a chance to catch an international act that's touring near me, and it's so humbling when other professionals and enthusiasts do the same when Neon makes a trip. This will be our furthest journey so far, of course! Thanks @rollingstone.com Australia for ft. Last & First Men
Following our recent news that we're taking Last and First Men to Australia's Rising Festival - Neon have made the list of 2025's must-see shows at Melbourne Recital Centre!
Thank you Sarah at Tone Deaf for picking out our Rising debut, happening on 7 & 8 June.

Such a privilege to be returning to The Site of Reversible Destiny (Yoro Park) thanks to The Great British Sasakawa Foundation. Neon will be creating a site specific performance to celebrate the parks 30th this Autumn, working in collaboration with sound artist Evala & sculptor Shinji Ohmaki.
Just catching up on the interesting work being done by Funmi Adewole, Rachel Krische and Efrosini Protopapa on the challenges of producing dance. Thanks @artsprofessional.co.uk for covering this. #UKDance
With this dance good news story being picked up by the media earlier this year, we'd love to hear your experiences of dance and health/wellbeing! Have you had some great outcomes from a project you've run? Or a positive personal experience with #Dance?
Very much looking forward to the ITC dance companies meeting. There's an insightful report of last month's gathering available via the link.
Were you there? Thank you for helping us explore the concept of wearable sound sculptures at our Sonic Body Lab, part of #Swindon’s @festivaloftomorrow.bsky.social @artscouncilengland.bsky.social

The latest Neon Dance project is here… a sound installation activated by the moving body!
We think Sonic Body Lab might just be the perfect half-term activity if you’re in Swindon (or fancy a trip to their famous Designer Outlet… bc every shopping trip needs wearable sound sculptures, am I right?!)
Speaking at the Roehampton University symposium "On Air: Exploring the historical, scientific and political impacts of inflatables in choreography" today!

Thank you!
Can anyone suggest a brilliant facilitator to help steer an afternoon focused on Neon's business plan for an away day in Swindon (UK) on the 31st January? @thegeometrician.bsky.social @cathjames.bsky.social @clarered.bsky.social 🧐
We've been doing "Cultural/Community Connector" roles in the UK for a while. During my time at @neondance.bsky.social (2018) we employed people to help build our profile in places where we were touring & they also made brilliant creative responses to the work too.
