Once again "the death of the West" meant "the death of my secret bank account."
Repo Man sequel.
Quite an experience to be eating rice and beans in your small rented apartment when another email from your employer arrives advising you to avoid Unions
Cody Rhodes sounds concussed.
Before they were arrested- Vets are demanding an end to the war on Iran at the Cannon Building in Washington, D.C.
One of the wildest things about 2026 is that even the low-budget horror trash is uninteresting. Going out and shooting on DV which has insane resolution now, with no care for lighting setups or anything else just yields awful results. At least in the past, the limitations of cheap film *helped*.

If it's a momentary burst of anxiety or concern just set a small goal--one paragraph. If it is okay write a second one. If not wait 24 hrs and revise it.
If one is truly paralyzed, the issue isn't one writing advice can handle. Self-esteem issues have to be resolved first.
two related thoughts: i suspect that many tech companies get away with utterly ratshit, incompetent leadership because you've got a fat middle section of competence holding up the roof
AI is an existential threat to that middle section of the workforce, and will lay bare a lot of incompetence
*average candidate trying to win a democratic primary*
all you guys in this room are the problem, everyone hates how you talk and act, and I wish I was anywhere else
Tech is an never ending cycle of programmers saying, "These rules are way too restrictive. Let's get rid of them" and IT responding with, "You're being too loose. We need to tighten things up."
All it will take is one big hack that can be traced back to a vibe code and things slow down.
Even during the "ceasefire", the Israelis are still demolishing entire villages in southern Lebanon with armored bulldozers. In fact, civilian contractors hired by the army receive pay which is based on the number of buildings destroyed.
Schumer voted against blocking the sale of these bulldozers.

I'm for an expansive public domain and limitations on trademarks that keep IP in corporate hands despite copyright lapsing, but a public domain Superman is definitely going to mean several Nazi versions and at least one Superman using his sperm as a weapon.
I hope my creative writing students like the first hour of Wrestlemania running on my laptop as a writing prompt, because that's what they're gonna get.
"Could you explain the rules of--"
"No."
I like a couple preliminary matches on a pre-show but I don't need weird fake handicapping and analysis. I'd like montages and music videos and wacky interviews though!
"I'm gonna win, not like the Phillies!!"
Okay, what sport are the Phillies in?
And many wrestling fans don't care about team sports!
I've been watching since Bob Backlund was champ in the early 80s. For forty+ years I'd listen to heels razz a live crowd by referencing some recent local baseball or football player who messed up and I'd always think "Who the hell is that??"
🧵: Let's review the WWE/ESPN relationship so far:
WWE deliberately antagonizes ESPN w/ Stephanie's VPN ad.
WWE gets sued for using ESPN's broken messaging Re: Unlimited since subscribers can't sue ESPN.
PLE viewership crashes.
WWE freaks out over Andreas Hale's letter grades.
(Continued...)
Gunner Eudy (Sid Vicious' son) is not happy with how WWE handled Sid's Hall of Fame induction.
And it's not $12 per book!
And if you make more than $100 from the platform, they don't charge the $12!!
Yup, D2D and it is obviously a good idea to create a minor fee to stop AI, but of course there are plenty of "indie writers" out there who make $11 a year I guess.
If your publishing career falls apart because a company is now going to charge $12 to upload your book to various e-tailers and POD printers, you already didn't have a publishing career.
