I have to get away from the news. I feel so much compassion for the families of the US military members already killed in this war Trump started. Then for him to announce there will likely be more and “that’s just how it is” like he couldn’t care less. I’m furious. And so sad.

Donald Trump is dragging the United States into a war the American people do not want. Let me be clear: I am opposed to a regime-change war in Iran, and our troops are being put in harm’s way for the sake of Trump’s war of choice.

“Any new messages Daisy?” “Oh you’re leaving one.” One drop is her saying “Hey” with a little head nod. Three drops (usually on a large rock) is “Daisy wuz here.” Still working on the rest. 🤣

I was out on my walk with Daisy recently and probably getting a little frustrated at how often she was stopping just to sniff. A woman said to me “Oh Mom, she’s just checking her messages.” We both laughed. It has stuck with me. Now I have a running dialogue about it with Daisy every time we walk.

Privileges as in conjugal visits or something?

Yup. I live 2 hours from there. Our usual go to is the coast (2-3 hrs) or Tahoe. Can’t do either right now.
