Well deserved, it’s a cracking read.

I thought I was on top of my research and had a fantastic supervisor, but wow did I underestimate the focus you need on the final stage to get it to the required standard. If you don’t think you’re going to have headspace then I think you’ll struggle, regret it and fall out of love with the topic.

I did mine part-time/distance learning while working full time and it was fine until the writing up started. I was lucky my employer let me go down to 1 day a week for 6 months for that but that was barely enough.
