Yeahhh, it is really bizarre. I am not sure why they feel that way about mods/cc. It feels like a very underhanded way of trying to be "better" than the Sims 4 or something, idk. I have amazing Sims 3 friends who cannot even post in sims 3 subreddits either.

I had to give up on Sims3 subreddits entirely because there is this weird pro-vanilla only vibe. I play with a lot of mods and cc in Sims 3, and would get down voted for posting screenshots. 🙃

That is fair, I was shocked too. I wanted everything to be changed to my new name, so to have the courts tell me they wouldn't allow it was honestly really sad for me. I also had to pay the newspaper to print a public notice of my name change, so Wisconsin is super archaic in a lot of ways.

A picture from my name change documentation. It states "If the person was born in Wisconsin, the Wisconsin birth certificate shall not be changed."
