Oh yes, I’ve had a lot of that today.

I know that feeling!!!
There’s one settlement ticket that shows as available, then says it can’t be added.
Sold out since 10:08 and unable to add anything other than charitable donation.
Is it all bots buying the tickets?
Spotify is a horrible platform in so many ways. People should consider if they're ok using it. We use Tidal in the shop for streaming and are really happy with it. Some of the staff use Qobuz at home. Spotify sounds terrible and their ethics are disgusting.
Feel like I need to pay this pub a visit on a future London trip, along with the pub around Victoria where someone brings their cats in a pushchair (apparently, no idea which pub). Do they have any sour beer though?
I’m not a fan of having to drive down to Devon and back twice in 5 days, but the timing was at least perfect to give me 8 hours to listen to this beautiful new @theshipbuilders.bsky.social album, This Blue Earth. Go buy it, if you haven’t already.
Working out all the chords, alternate tunings and lyrics for performing this next week has been no small amount of work so if a promoter somewhere else wants to put on a small show of me performing Essex Arms I might be interested.
That was a magical night tonight, thank you. Would love to do it all again if you came to @lepub.bsky.social.
As long as it was I think I’m alone now, that is totally acceptable. There’s a lot of amazing best song ever examples out there now.
If you’re not listening to Radio 5 tonight, they’re trailing an interview with Russell on Wednesday’s Tony Livesey show after all the football is over. I think usually just after midnight.
Where do folk go for Sunday roast in Newport city centre these days? Particularly with a good veggie option. It’s feeling an increasingly impossible mission.
If you know, you know
Just make sure you bring the green ones down with you! Last time we played you, Ethan Ampadu’s dad was in our squad.
Wish I’d have been listening to @mrjamesob.bsky.social live today, talking about the antisocial behaviour of people on public transport. This John Mouse song has the perfect response - play them at their own game. johnmouse.bandcamp.com/track/and-th...
@lewisgoodall.com @lbc.co.uk What has happened to the catch-up of Friday’s show on GlobalPlayer? Still showing as not available.

That can double up as a scratching post. 🤷🏻♀️
But you never know when… 😹 Do you have one at home in case the cats need saving?
Wasn’t that a magic gig? Lovely to have a proper catch up.
I was on one of these on Saturday from Newport to Birmingham and back. The seats are past their best too, third attempt on the way back to find one that wasn’t broken. No charging sockets at seats also makes you realise just how used we are to being able to do that. At least it’s a train with bins.
Yay! And then… Oh no! It’s last day of the football season and I’m away at Mansfield. If I can get out the ground quickly enough to get the first train after the game, and both trains are on time, I won’t get to Newport until just after 9pm. 🙇🏻♀️

When I used to work in university libraries a fresher once asked me where the library was, whilst standing in the middle of the ground floor of the library, within sight of books and journals.
