It will be sad to see Robbo go. Similar to Bobby's departure though, there's an element of the timing being right to move on. Flashes throughout of the season of defensive passivity which isn't the player he used to be. It would be painful to see that fragility grow. And Kerkez inbound obviously.

Important to note that Robertson is 31, 1 year left on his deal and has seen a decline in performance levels. He's not a VVD or Salah case and can only imagine he wouldn't be renewed. Accepting a move to Athletico for him while keeping Tsimikas as back up to Kerkez is pretty sound business to me
