i’m finishing my coursework for my arts award which i have procrastinated for over two months. what’s another 2 hours for some beautiful sauce.

OH and i have really sensitive visoon which means i am EXCELLENT at spotting wildlife. if there is a bird to be seen or a little movement in a pond, MY EYES ARE THERE. don’t know how much of this is autism/how much is being trained since birth by my dad/how much that’s the same thing

i’m autistic and i’m really good at connecting with people, especially kids! i’m very good at adapting my communication and finding things that work/are enjoyable for everyone.
i also have really good mental imaging so i can see things i’d like to make very clearly like a little 3d modelling engine

now nail FILES on the other hand?

i am on the opposite end of the spectrum and have had one pair of nail clippers since birth that i still use - i also got given a second pair that i sometimes use but i prefer my baby ones!

the only way i can hype myself up to eat a whole apple is slicing it up and having it with a little chocolate bar as a little ritual. my dad used to do this for me when i was little and it is so delightful. just monching into an apple though? awful. especially since getting lip piercings

first project of the year finished!! some lovely cosy twined handwarmers to be sent to far and distant england. BABY’s FIRST COLOURWORK!!!! these were a mild ballache but ultimately a good bitta fun. having a row counter REALLY helped

yesterday, exactly two months after i got @stellartim.bsky.social and @benrlmeredith.bsky.social to draw some spirals for me, i got them tatted!!!! joined with a gorgeous pictish crescent/semi intentional symbol of artemis. thank you both for drawing such lovely spirals - they look fucking awesome

got to do a thanj you wave to some cars for letting me across the road and feel like a Creature of sorts. mission accomplished!

my next pair are gonna be done in twined knitting for a friend who works setting up markets and i imagine his wee hands get cold!!! im loving how much i’m learning about fabric construction from knitting, that pair will hopefully be super hard wearing as well as warm.
