It's a very internal exploration. All the writing I did around that time was very focused around the self, and the desire for connection and companionship in a place where everything felt far away. I kind of love it, especially now that I can see it (and myself) clearer.

Basic concept: a guy has his consciousness implanted in a cyborg body (a cheap model, and the best he could afford) after a horrible accident, and struggles to feel like himself in a body that constantly fails him. He feels disconnected from the world and the people in it, questioning his humanity.

It's funny to see the breadcrumbs of my gender identity in this art/era. This was from a very heavy time in my life right after I lost my Dad to COVID, and just before I really started to come to terms with being trans. Looking back, it definitely shows.

I've been revisiting some old art and writing from my "Cyborg AU" kick (which was the time right before I started drawing and posting Casio, circa 2021), and most of that art isn't on bsky so... 😌 might be cute and post some old stuff here

Apologies for the absence on this account. Aside from working full time, it's been very difficult to be creative and artistically expressive these days.
