This is an easy one.
I've been a storyteller and writer for ages now, and the thing I love most about making a comic is, simply, being able to tell a story that I created for the chance that others will read and enjoy it.

My boyo has TWO scars over his eye, and you won't believe who gave them to him! Even if you did know who, no shot you could guess the why.
This right here was one of the big reasons I left @globalcomix.com and stopped hosting my comics there. I truly believed they supported human creativity, and indie comics especially.
Not anymore. Not after all the recent controversies, including this one.

High Class Homos is a VERY different than what I usually read...
But I couldn't help it! Between the various kinds of great LGBTQ+ representation, and a cast of wonderfully quirky characters with quite the story behind them, it's such a fun #webcomic to read!
I found the Wyvernspell #webcomic within the last year and got quickly hooked! Between the engaging characters, riveting story, and tons of cool twists and turns, plus a very appealing art style, this one is sure to interest any fan of dragons and fantasy!
Sure! I know it's primarily hosted on Webtoons.

Interested in magic and elemental powers? Try reading Spellbound, a completed #webcomic!
This coming-of-age fantasy adventure centers on some really fascinating characters and explores some fantastically designed worlds. And with themes of acceptance and identity also explored, I really enjoyed it.
I absolutely love dinosaurs and prehistoric life, and the #webcomic Ancient Animal Tales is a hidden treasure I did not expect to find.
The stories and characters are captivating, even when a bit slow at times, and the artstyle and designs and action scenes are simply GOEGEOUS.
The Otterpop account will get more traction but I'll be sharing this list on this account!!
I'd like to show some support for my fellow comic creators!!

Screenshot of an indivudal saying: "I can understand your opinion, but if you have a text error and no one has time, AI can also improve your words (with your idea). I use AI that way, and my works are also written and drawn by myself.
The way I wrote dialogue in my early comic pages did not sound natural at all to a reader or for the characters.
But I trained and practiced improving that, without AI. I'm redrawing the first chapter partly because of it. Using AI like this is just a shortcut that bypasses actual learning.
Time for me to start updating again! Hunters: Wolves of the Stormguard Chapter 3 Page 101 has been released!

Fantasy focuses?! Sign me up, these are all great accounts for following!
There's also my Patreon, though it's the only platform that is more paywall exclusive. The lowest tier gets early access to high quality pages, and every other tier adds WIPs and inside info.
Or you can just get the whole collection of past/future pages and WIPs!

I also publish Hunters on ComicFury, but I tend to do so in batches so updates are a little more I frequent (every couple of months or so).
I have now put Hunters on Itch.io and will be updating it weekly on Mondays as well.

Whelp, I did it. I took Hunters off of GlobalComix, and have essentially left that community. It may seem hasty, but in the background I've been on the fence for months now.
But don't worry, there are other platforms to keep up with my comic!

Been on and off today reading discussions, complaints, thoughts, and rereading conversations in the #GlobalComix Discord server.
And when I have some time....I'll be removing my story from GC. And trying to expand on other creator-centric platforms.
More updates to come soon, please be patient!
Room Cube | Una’s Room from Sync January 2025 Traditional, pencil, then Digital, Krita An isometric pixel art piece featuring a room cube, a 2-dimensional space made to look like a 3-D space. The room features a twin-sized wooden-framed bed with purple covers and a dark gray and light lavender pillow in the center right section of the wall, atop a very dark and saturated fluffy purple rug, circular in shape. On the right side of the bed is a simple white/pale cream nightstand with an open slot and a single drawer. Atop the nightstand sits a silver metal lamp with a black cord and a cream shade. To the left of the bed sits a lavender bench with 3 cushion-like tops. On the right wall, a cream color, are two posters; the left poster has a pastel green background and a simple pixelated purple-and-white flower design with green leaves and stems, and the right poster has a light pink background with unintelligible light violet and dark violet text. The left wall, which is desaturated lavender in color, has a single four-frame and light gray window. The silver curtain rod atop holds two dull magenta curtains, one of which is so long it drapes over a small section of the lavender bench cushions. The open window presents a yellow and orange glow as if a sunset is taking place. Below the window towards the left is a small gray outlet with two outlet connections. On the left-hand side of the room are two dark wooden shelves, the same color and design of the bed frame. In the back left corner is a 3-tiered shelf containing various books and other small items, with a small plant on top. In the bottom left is the backside of a shorter wooden dresser. The floor is a very light tan carpet. Some shadows or shadow effects are present across the furniture, carpet, and walls to give off the feeling of a stronger lighting effect on the room.
Drift February 2022 Traditional, pen and colored pencils A Patreon reward commission. This vibrant scene portrays a grassy and hilly landscape with large tufts of grass and colorful rocks scattered about. A small stream flows from the top of a hill to the cavity below, reflecting off the bright blue sky. Near the stream’s depression, lay an abandoned bronze yellow shield adorned with a strange triangular door mark. Fluffy white clouds dot the sky above amidst the bright blue gradient.
Mandala Lineart | Traditional August 2024 Digital, Krita A mandala lineart design made with “traditional” patterns and designs such as ripples, zigzags, circles, and half-teardrops.
The Vessel & the Vespid #5: Lament September 2022 Traditional, pen and colored pencils Inspired from the game Hollow Knight, features two characters called the Knight and Hornet. The large structure covering most of the left and center of the piece is a dark greenish-blue cocoon, with a strange vine and scale-like exterior portions. In the opening of the cocoon, a small Knight draped in his blue cloak stands and looks up at an ethereal white being with tendril-like hair and appendages; she is wrapped in dark blue bindings but appears to be calm and at peace. Outside the cocoon, where little glowing balls float all around, stands Hornet as she bows to a fallen deceased figure slumped near the entrance to the cocoon. The figure Hornet addresses has three prominent horns and a pure white body with clothing reminiscent of armor. Lush and colorful green grasses and flora elements surround the cocoon in both the foreground and the background.
Holy crap my follower count suddenly soared to 500, I'm beyond happy! Let's celebrate with an #artshare!
Repost mine or others' stuff, maybe spread some love in the comments, and show me your diverse projects and styles!
I'll start with some #traditionalart and #digitalart!
I'm definitely the latter.
I'm a weird one. For me, it's all about scheduling. I'm the kinda person who adheres to a semi-strict schedule to make sure I make enough time for all my projects.
Without my schedules and timekeeping, I get stressed, which more likely leads to burnout and overworking.
I understand there's a huge gray area with policies like these for larger platforms...but something about it makes it hard to believe in a place like GC now.
Which begs the question: is it worth to keep positing on #GlobalComix if a platform makes me and other creatives feel this way?
Fully gen AI comics aren't allowed on #GlobalComix, and that's great. But it's still allowing gen AI in small capacities. It doesn't feel like these rules will be well enforced, not to mention it's like a stab in the gut to creatives who spent their own hands and years on their projects.
Been following the latest happenings in the #GlobalComix website news and Discord server and I have to admit....that I'm a little disappointed.
I went to that platform after finding that Webtoons just didn't really have creator-focused ideals and policies. And now the GC boat feels similar.
