- Substack Notes (kinda fun, honestly) juliaccarpenter.substack.com

Anyway! Good luck out there, y'all!

Hi Bluesky! I'm looking to chat with new aunts and uncles for a story for @wsj.com.

I want to talk about how you're financially involved in the new baby's life, how you're budgeting for travel and gifts, the convos you've had with the new parents, etc. Please DM if this is you!

Hi, Bluesky! I'm a writer based in Brooklyn.

I write and report on all sorts of things:

- the wealth gap between single people and couples
- the rise of the divorce memoir as its own subgenre
- the ways in which burnout and anxiety affect our spending
- how people get books past prison censors
