Not much to say. Have been holding Haaland and Bruno for long time in my draft, but decided to swich to Salah just because I didn’t want opening day to be ruined by not owning him if he scores.

Other players are just putting the pieces together with budget you have left

FWD options:
Watkins (hot form)
Joao Pedro (minutes risk)
Mateta (form but bad fixtures)
Guiu (8th attacker you don’t use)

DEF options:
Prefer 5.5m options to 6m
Porro (set pieces)
Milenkovic (goal threat)
Murillo & Tarkowski (def con)
Neco (assist & def con)
4.5m just pick ones that best rotate
4m same as 4.5m

MID options:
Palmer / Bruno / Wirtz (2 are a must)
Anderson (safe option)
Reijnders / KDH (exciting options)

🔴 Similar situation is with bad fixture runs:

Newcastle - first 2 tough games, than LEE & WOL, than ARS in GW6
Arsenal - bad run (excl GW2 vs LEE)
C Palace - only one easy game in GW4 vs SUN
Man Utd - have ARS, MCI & CHE in first 6GWs
Brighton - play MCI, TOT & CHE

🟢 Teams that stand out most in first 6 GWs are:

Nott Forest - nice run (excl GW4 at ARS)
Aston Villa - also nice with tricky (NEW, CRY and EVE)
Spurs (excl GW2 at MCI - not good if your plan is BB that week)
Chelsea
Sunderland - but we have to see how they will look like in PL

At the start of the season there is not team that has super easy set of fixtures.

You can play with fixture ticker and exclude some GW where you would FH

For example Liverpool (if excluding GW1 and GW4) has toughest fixtures in first 10 GWs 🤔

Mateta showed best pre-season form.

If you want nailed forwards than Bowen 8.0m and Watkins at 9.0m are great option.

Gyokeres I would avoid in first 6 GWs. Need to see his minutes

Haaland at 14m. No need to comment. It is him vs Salah at start of season

At 7.0m we only have Evanilson. After Liverpool he has really nice schedule and likely to be on pens as long as Kluivert is out

7.5m looked promising, but Solanke is injured, Joao Pedro could always end as early sub. Wood overperformed last season and Forest attack is bad in pre-season.

Fulkrug 6.0m looks good in pre-season but West Ham signed Wilson and I expect them to figt for n9

6.5m option could be interesting with Welbeck and Strand Larson (both should be on penalties)

Piroe at 5.5 mil had good numbers at Leeds, but PL will be much harder. Beto I am not sure about his minutes as Everton signed Barry.

Should Wissa leave Igor could became good option at 6.0m but he is yet to prove himself in PL

🏹 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦 - 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧 👀

Picking cheap forwards will be difficult task this season.

Maybe some good options emerge by the end of transfer market.

At 4.5m Marc Guiu could be used as 8th attacker should he go on loan at Sunderland

This season we are unlikely to have playing 4.0mil GK

Also I am not sure 5.5mil GKs are worth owning at the start of season.

My main focus would be rotation between two 4.5mil GK or 5mil + 4mil

Most popular options in defence to start the season with.

I am not a fan of 6mil options. Playing for top teams they are unlikely to get much DefCon points. At least not combined with CSs. Also non of them has nice schedule.

Bruno could be good but we need to se how Man Utd will setup with both Cunha and Mbeumo and if he plays deeper role or not

Premiums Saka, Palmer and Salah I will not discuss. Pne of them is a must. Preferably two of them should be in your team

7.5mil Eze is great option if he stays at Palace. Gakpo is first choice on LIV left side since Diaz departure

8.5mil Wirtz looks like a steal but we will se how PL suits him.

City MIDs are risky due to minutes concern.

6.5mil price players are very interesting with likes of Ndaye (pens), Sarr, Kudus amd Mitoma

7.0mil Rogers looks like a must have. Great minutes and Villa has nice fixtures too. Semenyo & Kluivert are being slept on because of their opening fixture vs Liverpool but after that they have easy run

🪄 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗙𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 - 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧 👀

5.0-5.5mil players are mainly there as 8th attacker option. The ones that stand out for DefCon points are Anderson and Baleba. Adingra and Malen for attacking returns

6.0mil Paqueta and McNeil have solid fixtures and some set pieces

One thing is sure. Players winning DefCon bonus point will usually end on your bench.

For 5.5mil Tarkowski and Murillo stand out as DefCon points magnets. Munoz, Milenković and Porro are there for their attacking threat.

Can’t see many good 5mil option

Rotating 4.5m defenders might be the way to go as there are many good options there.
