It unlocked something in my brain when I started using it (came for LinkedIn but I am starting to setup Bluesky too)
Still needs polish but fun to take

Thought about it while reading a tweet here.
D&D alignement x AI stance.

As-tu tenté une traduction ?
Cette partie là est clairement notable 🤨.
J’en suis sorti avec à peu près 12000 idées à creuser.
Merci beaucoup !
Le résultat va vous surprendre (et la conversation était très intéressante)

And as always, continue on bleuprint.eu — where I write about what these choices cost.
The line that stayed with me after: choosing your tools is a political act. Not metaphorically. The subscription you pay, the model you default to, the dependency you accept — that's a design decision about your own mind.
Spent 75 min on @ambroisegarel.com podcast @lepavenumerique.com talking about what happens when you use coding AIs sideways — for writing, for thinking, for creative work.
In French. For the francophones in the room.
The best framework for thinking about AI and suality is not automation theory. It's restaurant vs homemade food.
Homemade tart for friends ≠ opening a restaurant. Same ingredient, completely different ambition. Most people using AI don't know which one they're cooking.
Can't wait to get "bumble memories" in my "bee".
Classic arms dealer move, actually.
Sell defense to one side, offense to the other. Collect on both. Stay neutral.
The only way to lose is if the war ends.
Philosopher Ivan Illich called it radical monopoly — not market dominance, but when you can't meet a need without going through the institution.
When the shield and the scraper are the same company, what does opting out even mean?
The crawl product is explicitly marketed for AI training data.
Meaning: Cloudflare will shield your content from scrapers, and simultaneously sell someone else the tool to scrape it.
Cloudflare launched /crawl this week. One API call, full site scraped, no browser management.
They've also been selling the bot protection that would block exactly that.
I'm not saying GenAI is a revolution. I'm just saying that up until last week I had never written more than 2 lines of LaTeX.
I have now written 2 professional documents in important contexts. And I am starting to see why some people are addicted.
What happened ?
Applied 😁

Oh.
Today @ghost.org crossed $10M ARR, as a bootstrapped non-profit foundation building open source software.
Indie publisher revenue earned with Ghost now ~$130M, and accelerating.
If you speak french and want well informed, funny & slightly non-conformist takes on tech, don't miss the campaign to fund this new media.

Why do I love living in Paris ?
I can try 4 very different world class cheesecakes in 1 hour.
And one of them has Comté in it.
This brings me joy.
Thank you! I started thinking about it about a month ago...
Reading your piece yesterday helped me wrap things up.
Three quadrants survive. Very different physics in each.
Most software companies don't know which one they're in. Some don't know there are quadrants.
For what it's worth, I now know which one I'm going for.

The death of the interface moat reveals something underneath.
Two axes that were always there, masked by switching costs: what you accumulate (scale) and what you stand behind (craft).
I can't decide if most builders know which one they're in.
