Murc's Law remains undefeated

Dems didn't fuck up, voters did with help from a cowardly and feckless press that failed to properly inform.
They are not policies. And in any case, we can say that the status quo is bad but what is happening under Trump is far worse, MORE BAD. With the destruction of USAID alone, tens of thousands, mostly children, are dead and they would be alive if Harris was POTUS.
None of those are policy concessions or promises that Harris made to Cheney in exchange for her support.
I didn’t come up with the joke
Isn't the joke something like the ideal person is fascist, intelligent and honest. But, you can be honest and fascist but not intelligent, fascist and intelligent but not honest, or honest and intelligent but not fascist.
I can't stand this. Which of Cheney's policies did Harris adopt or promise? That's right, none.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about this and how the idea that things would be equally bad with Harris is catastrophically wrong. There are real people who are dead that would be alive today had Harris won. And no, the reverse is not true.
Yes because kids have never in the history of the world figured out how to play and communicate even if they speak different languages
I had to triple check the date to make sure it said April 2026.
Brb asking Google if disease outbreaks have ever decimated armies
Correct
Mark Burnett doesn't get enough shit for his role in convincing millions of gullible Americans that Trump is some brilliant deal maker. I hope he gets pelted with rotten produce every single time he's in public.
Dear lord what have we done
Nah fuck that guy. He knew what he was doing, he's not sorry and he should be ridiculed for the rest of his life.
A world without vaccines is one filled with dead children. It's not a world you want to live in, I promise you.

And the American public has no idea. Great job voters! I hope your sicker, shorter lives are worth it.
I really appreciate that. It takes a lot of effort to have a more optimistic view, & some days I'm really bad at it. But, ultimately I know that a can-do attitude is an antidote to the poison of despair, or something like that. As someone on here told me last week, anti-doomerism is a civic virtue!
I can't wait for all of the (fake) debt & deficit hawks who have absolutely no problem w/ the current GOP/Trump spending spree to come out of the woodwork while a feckless & credulous press echoes that deep, totally real concern by engaging with Republicans as if they are acting in good faith.
Bonus points for Ralph Reed. F that guy. There is no President Trump (still pains me to say it) without the Christian Right.
Anyway, I will gladly answer the call to rebuild. I'm not sure what it is I can do but I'll do whatever it is that needs to be done.
Yes, very much this. I've been screaming my head off about this since before the election. The average American has no idea. And for the ones that do, the only reaction I've received is "don't worry, it will all work out!". Um... by magic?
Let me make this easy for everyone: it's the fucking guns.
I'm so sick of this just being a tiny blip on the news radar, in part because there is so much other crazy shit happening. I want consequences for extrajudicial murder.
I am disguise!
The antisemitism from the right and the left is going to be off the charts during the 2028 campaign season, she says with dread. It shouldn't need to be said that, no, I do not support or approve of Netanyahu or the war.
Ok cool I guess but the extensive damage has been done. Great job American voters. Brilliant gambit.
Inshallah
But tell me more about Hunter Biden's laptop
Fair enough but they also use those terms to broadly mean "liberal"
