I don't wanna be *that* person who always goes on about linux gaming.

But.

I just installed the Pragmata demo on my PC, to give it a shot after seeing all excitement about it.

I'm still shocked that I can just install and run a AAA game on release, on linux and have it work flawlessly.

And thus my morning has been playing Cyberpunk 76 and FF14... on Fedora KDE.

That was rather smooth.

Learnt today that Fedora KDE has customizable zone based window snapping out of the box, akin to windows fancy zones.

This was the last big thing stopping me from dual booting windows + Linux.

I think its time.

It's kinda funny having a bee attracting bush by my office window.

Every now and then I'll hear this *thud* sound, as a bumble bee the size of a £2 coin smacks into the window.

The downside is, as someone who is afraid of them, it's a pain to take the rubbish out cause it's also by the back door.

I lost my house in FF14, on purpose I'll add, and it feels... freeing?

I don’t think it’ll ever 100% go. But we’re gonna see a lot less “free” use, ESPECIALLY if power costs keep going up.

Can we just take a moment to look at the move Apple has made with the Neo?

A device of Apple standards for that much??? If anyone asks me for work laptop recommendations I’m honestly going to start pointing this out as an option.

Heck… some of my games run on my Mac.

I know my hubby would love to have a garden big enough to host art parties and the likes.

Ahhh maybe one day, a girl can dream. :3

I would also love a garden with enough room for enough seating where people don’t feel the need to go inside to get off their feet for a bit or sit on the floor, as I’ve had to in the past.

I used to love the idea of modern black and whites, but now?

I’d be so much happier with a cottage in the country so long as I still had a phone signal and optical broadband.

I want a house with polished brass door finishings. Dark browns, deep greens and cozy pinks.

I want the rooms to feel warm and cozy, not big and bright. No so dark they feel small and claustrophobic, but not so bright you feel exposed.

When/ if I manage to buy a house part of me wants to buy an older one that’s had all the metal finishings left but panted over in landlord white.

And then get the joy of taking them all off, stripping the years of paint from them and restoring them.

Idk it just feels like it’d be super satisfying.

Alternatively, I could invest in a little dremel and punch a small hole into a standard base just big enough for the drone stick.

I'm popping into my local Warhammer store next saturday for the free mini, so I can see if they sell the right size bases and ask ask a couple questions then.

To make up for the curvature of the flying base I'm thinking of build a "pile of" something.

Time to do some research in to model base terrain. :D

Oh, on that note of my tau army. All of my units with normal bases are now magnetized, so they don't move around in my carry case.

Just gotta figure out what to do with the drones. Probably gonna get some same size standard bases and just glue the flying base to it.

Realizing this has made me very sad that the kits only seem to ever come with an odd number of drone antennas.

Anyone else look at #tau drones and think they look like bunnies?

I wanna paint mine brown and then paint just a bit of the outside of the antenna pink to look like rabbit ears and the little optic under the rim to look like a lil' nose.

Sure, keep the physical copies at the post offices for accessibility reasons.

But why can’t those of us who have a printer just print it?
