Highly recommend the Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine if you’ve not been.

As a laugh I searched for cryptozoology on indeed, imagine my surprise when it got a hit… for a museum several states away.

imo museum are at their best when they’re in small towns and blur the line between legit history and tourist trap, so that being said:

1. Creationist Museum in Kentucky
2. Cryptozoology Museum in Maine
3. Capital Punishment Museum in Texas

Two Portland OR men died while searching for Sasquatch in eastern Skamania County, the local Sheriff’s Office told the media on 28 Dec 2024. The unnamed men, 59 and 37, were found dead in a heavily wooded area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest after a 3-day search.
