I thought this was interesting. While stop and search 'criminality detected' rates vary between forces, at force level those rates vary little by subject ethnicity, especially in the large metropolitan forces. In other words, the bar for reasonable suspicion is applied quite consistently.

I have been using #Linux almost exclusively for all of my daily work for almost a month now.

I highly recommend it. It's been refreshing to just have a computer that feels like it works without a bunch of crap bothering me all the time.

Stop the world, I’d like to get off please.

How on earth could a jury not find a verdict on GBH with intent?

It’s on camera.

There is no lawful excuse of ‘defending someone with a sledgehammer’.

🤦🏼‍♂️

Who would want to be a Police Officer?

Definite Yay! I used it to give a whole new lease of life to an old MacBook. On the right hardware it’s super responsive compared to non-optimised alternatives (e.g. vanilla Arch)…you can really feel the difference!

CachyOS is the ultimate Windows killer, IMO.

Doesn't confuse new users with flatpaks. People can still install them if needed.

HDR/VRR works as Wayland is supported well with KDE/Gnome.

It's based on a rolling distro, but so is Steam OS.
One update broke the H.264 codec, but they fixed it soon.
