A baby at 57! My hardback has just had a paperback baby. This cute li’l edition just arrived at my home & is out next month - 21st May. It HUGELY helps if you’re going to buy it, for yourself or as a gift, if you pre-order. You can do that here:

Or at any book shop 🙏🏻 🐾

2 years into his cancer journey, Dad’s been endlessly resilient, optimistic & full of life. He’s having a tough time in the aftermath of radiotherapy, as is often the way. In the spirit of hope and love, for Dad or anyone having a tough time, comment if you have a happy thing to say? Love you, Dad.
How lovely is this? Dad adorned in the @coatofhopes - the perfect symbol to mark the end of radiotherapy. 🌈
I want to be him.
BELFAST! This is for you 💚🩷🙏🏻

Jeff - over the moon to have me home.
My hair, Jeff’s eyes 👀
The next Banksy, me
Nice of Sheffield to lay on some on-brand graffiti right outside my hotel.
Came out of tube earlier and a bloke outside called over: ‘Have you got any cats at home?’. I bowled over to pick him on his assumptions about midlife women having cats, then realised… he was giving out free cat food samples to people outside the tube.
And here’s my cat at home.
Night night, from us.
We need as many 62-year-old pissed off feminists as there are 👌🏻
Totally!
Welcome to the nanosphere: why we need wise female elders leading society. I’d watch a doc about that, Louis Theroux.
Back on the road from Wednesday - first up Sheffield! Then Colchester and Brighton at the weekend. Join me? 💚🩷🙏🏻

Jeff is my dog.
Reunited with Jeff, an actual rainbow came out. We had a chat and I’m giving up work so I never have to leave him again. That is all.
That has given me hope. We’re 3 diagnoses in at 82…
Was asked to dedicate book last njght: ‘For Jane - he’s not worth it’. Turns out, Jane’s fella left her on Xmas Day for younger woman at work. Told her same thing happened to me, on my 44th birthday. By time I was 45 I’d run a marathon & started stand-up. You’re worth it, Jane. That’s what matters.
Much love to you.
Best of luck! 🔔
I hope so too.
Huge congrats to your son ❤️
Me too!
Looking 62, not 82, and full of life, and love, and hope, here’s Dad ringing the end of radiotherapy bell today. Landmark moment for my favourite dad.
Ah well that’s perfectly fine then. And also complete bollocks.
Why is this irking me more the people sitting beneath it? Making me want to give the whole carriage a good old tidy-up.
I posted last last week about taxi driver telling me no bloke would put up with my life as a touring comic. Then telling me how much he’d enjoyed seeing Kevin Bridges at the Apollo and me pointing out KB has a wife and kid back in Glasgow. He didn’t get it. I turn up on tour in Edinburgh and look…!
Today my son is driving Dad to his radiotherapy while I’m off touring in Scotland. Told me he’s used to looking after older mammals, as a zookeeper. What a lucky sandwich to be in.
