The cat who's never really understood how to bury her own shit, but understands there's a performative action involved. There's an analogy of some kind here...

One of the Fauntleroy Community Association board members owns a waterfront house & grew up in a different waterfront house a few lots down that's now owned by her cousin, also on the board. Her parents founded the FCA & her husband was president for years until his death last year. Representation!
Ohhh FW. Never change. Actually, please do change.
It's amazing how many people bought their SFHs for <$200k in the '80s-early '90s and think that makes them smart ๐
If I ever ran for public office this would legit be one of my tent pole issues.
I'd for sure lose and possibly be chased out of town by the insane outdoor cat defenders, who operate like a Mafia.
Oh, I've done this. I did it for the full Fauntleroy Community Association board. Made a spreadsheet with when they bought their home, for how much, whether it's waterfront, whether it has views...
While saying it's because their artist friends were priced out of Seattle. When challenged on how *restricting* housing improves the situation, they mumble something about how Amazon should just leave.
So gross. Is it the Girl Scouts again? As a GS, seeing them used (in uniform!) for previous comments really bothered me.
It's awful here, don't visit.
Gah, I was introduced to Michou by coworkers when I worked at Sur La Table in 2006. Such a bargain, especially with the Market employee discount ๐
Then my first office job was right up the hill in Market Place Tower & Michou continued to be a favorite. Need to get there soon for a Sierra chicken...
Mature people with confidence in their own position and curiosity for the world and other opinions don't immediately block folks who slightly question them. I've known the type who do, though... They aren't admirable. Ask questions, field questions, learn, improve, repeat.
I'm certainly far from perfect. And it isn't "stalking" to realize a public figure on one platform is on another, and to decide to engage there because the other is toxic ๐คท Sorry that offends you. The poster immediately blocked me, which IMO says a lot about her integrity and knowledge.
On Instagram, this user encouraged people in Southern California to freely sow all sorts of flower seeds, many of which are very aggressive species that reseed prolifically and risk crowding out perennial natives.
Are you some kind of wizard?
Your response was normal. I don't know anyone who talks about the percentage of what they plant but also accounts for areas they don't plant, lol.
But the answer also isn't fucking cosmos ๐คฆ๐ผ
"Why are you so cool, Mr. Basketball Man?"

Is it just me, or does this headline make these folks sound like heroes?
It definitely makes sense to increase capacity at the intersection itself, since intersections are famously where fewest traffic conflicts occur... ๐คฆ๐ผ
KUOW? But they need to stay focused on giving coverage to local NIMBY causes!

If @theneedling.com covered literal hell.
So... "Where to move to after you've made your first $10 million and don't like seeing poors"?
Oh yay, it's more nihilism. These guys are so clever!

Ok, y'all. We've reached peak West Seattle moral panic. We can pack up and go home now! #seattle #westseattle
Luckily they didn't make any further progress before the solution was implemented ๐
So, ruby-crowned kinglets are shy, and the only other decent photo I've managed was from many yards away with a 150-600mm lens.

The "once in a blue moon" the fire trucks need to come through ๐คฆ๐ผ I mean, yeah, house fires aren't common and yet, when they happen it's kind of crucial that aid vehicles can actually access the street.
Maybe they should band together and privatize the street. Good luck in emergencies!
