I never use the app, I just broadcast from spotify, so I have never seen those problems

I use Sonos. lots of people bitch about the app but it always just worked for me. Press a button on the top to add any speaker to the playing set, press it again to remove it. We use the Move as a garden speaker and we have a bigger one for larger parties.
