Trump looks like he had a Big Mac !!
Does he seriously not know where his heart is ?
When you've got it, you've got it ! ๐
Cats at play . .

Banned 26 years ago . . . and the final death knell for the British firework industry
Have a risky Friday the 13th today !
..from Spooky the Kitten ๐
Norwegian Black Fallow Deer - a melanistic fallow, outside the house. These guys (and gals) regularly come around looking for food and nibbling the garden plants
What a shock ... errr hmmm !!!
Some feisty chemistry experiments ๐
Acquired a few new (well, very old) fireworks today
This is an "Olympic Torch" - a hand-held flare common 40 years ago
"Limpy" the pheasant is starting to come up to the windows of the sunroom to ask for food now . . .
He has a (broken?) leg or something similar. He's walking better now than he did a few months back.
Comes every day for food bless him !
Spooky the Kitten being carried about in the fields
A Pains-Wessex box of British fireworks from early to mid 1970's is up for grabs. Not sure if I will bid or not. (I collect Standard fireworks and some Brocks with a few others)
Beautiful though! - love the nostalgic feel to the crepe paper lined box and the touchpaper lit contents
Autumn is almost at an end . . .
I do like this time of year though, as we descend into winter. We've already had a taste this last week. The landscape loses complexity and boils back to contrasts with hardly any colour.
Views open. Mists and drips replace hot days. Chopping wood excites me.
Spooky - exploring the outside world
4" shell - Willow Diadem stars and a few red/green.
Watching the sunrise in the Derbyshire Peak DIstrict NP
A selection of British fireworks from the 1990's on a display system I designed and 3D printed
Cats loved the snow !!!
Pip just makes a perfect surrogate mum to Spooky
Both rescue cats. Pip has one eye (and it's not good) - but she's the happiest little soul on the planet
Kitten's first time in snow
Spooky was completely bemused but couldn't understand the way he sank up to his belly bless him ๐
That got deep fast !!
Nice one Mick
Me and Oscar, who died in November 2024 . . .
He was a stray cat who turned up in 2012. He was a star! - a proper "cat" who would roam off, but always come home to love, fuss and food. RIP my lovely lad xxx
Remember these?
"Jumping Jacks" or "ripraps" (depending on where you lived)
Some more of my vintage UK firework collection.
Most banned in 1998 / 2004 - all had "blue touchpaper" if you remember this ?
