The Frog Squad is my game for the #LeanGreenZineJam

It's about Frogs destroying a data center and uses mechanics inspired by the trick-taking game Hearts.

This is the cover for the game

Unless it's a gritty modern reboot with John Leguizamo absolutely eating it.

A wider shot of the cake, with a smaller round iced tower with windows and brickwork supporting a large paper cone shaped as a radio telescope.

My 30th birthday cake, as if my nerd creds were ever in doubt :)

If you've never seen it, 100% add The Dish to your watch list.

Sam Neill plays the director of CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope during the Apollo 11 moon landing, and it's the most wonderful, endearing movie I have ever seen.

Not to mention the video signals are being carried on O2O which looks like someone wearing glasses.

I'm guessing between LLDC and O2O they are building up to the Next-Gen Optical Comms Relay

Which means I might be able to live out my dream of being a space lighthouse keeper!

My favourite mini wargaming con #Salute53 is next weekend and I am excited.

Plotted a route so I can make sure I check out all the coolest stuff.

a cartoon character says we 've tried nothing and were all out of ideas Alt: Simpsons Gif. Ned Flanders parents - bohemian arty types in berets - complain "We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas."

Voting is how you complain, abstaining is the functional equivalent of "I'm happy with the status quo".

You may not like either option, but opting out certainly won't do anything useful for you.

Industrial PC/104 still a thing? I'm well out of the game, but you used to be able to get some interesting boards and modules for that.

Libretto 50/70 Battery Rebuild
Libretto 50/70 Battery Rebuild YouTube video by Robert's Retro

Worst case if you're willing to get your hands dirty, the packs are rebuildable.

Lithium too, I was expecting them to be Ni-MH from that era.

You could rewatch the Adepticon releases and laugh at them completely fucking it up as usual?

5 days ago 0 0 0 0

You can (sometimes) score a Toshiba Libretto for the same money as these go for. That gets you a pentium CPU with 32mb of RAM, and where's the fun in that?

They don't have a prison-edition case though, so that's another strike against them.

ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti points her camera out the Cupola on the International Space Station to capture an image of Earth. Credit: ESA/NASA

In the immediate foreground, small instrumentation of unknown use frames the edges. Samantha floats holding a large DSLR camera in front of the small porthole style windows of the cupola.

The background through the windows is a striking view of the Earth in daylight clouds float over a blue ocean.

Up there with ISS's Cupola.
