Screenshot of The Abbess Garden. Dialog between the main character, Agnes, a young peasant, with Robert Arnauld d'Andilly, a noble man. Behind here is Antoine Arnaud. Behind them, a map of the abbey.
Screenshot of The Abbess Garden. Agnès is watering calendula in summer. The grass is yellow, the trees bright green. There are borage, Iris and sunflowers in sight.

Friendly reminder: Laravel 11 stops receiving bug fixes on Wednesday! 😱
This means you've only got 6 months to upgrade to 12 before security fixes are ended too. Don't put it off or you'll find yourself with an unsupported version before you realise it! ⌛
Here's your problem...

With a fully remote team of just 20 employees, Bluesky has surpassed 20 million users in its first year since opening to the public and is stealing thunder from rivals hundreds of times its size.
At a time when conventional wisdom among bosses is that workers must be in-person to be productive.

It's all relative. With a 4% Linux share, "almost no one" comes to 108 million devices if you figure there are 2.7 laptops and desktops in use worldwide, which is what Statista estimates. That isn't a small number: Why Desktop Linux Matters, Even If (Almost) No One Uses It
this is exactly why i still buy discs in 2023. it's crazy to think that we are reaching a point where piracy will be the only option to own media once dvds and blu-rays are gone.

Your periodic reminder that less ice at the Arctic is consistent with a weaker jet stream that allows cold air to drift down into the Great Plains. The frigid temps you're experiencing happen BECAUSE of a warming planet, not in spite of it. Two globes with the US in view. One is stable polar vortex and shows a circular strong jet stream containing cold Arctic air. The other is wavy polar vortex and shows waves in the jet stream, allowing the arctic air to move further south.
Nice graphic I'm seeing at the other place. Can't find an attribution.
They can upgrade to Linux instead
BTW I’m an old lazy Linux guy and run Mint
Mint is perfect for a new Linux user and behind it you have almost all that Debian can offer if you need special stuff
All good, welcome!
the gradual replacement of “exchanging money for goods” with “exchanging money for a license to use goods as a service” has been one low key one of the worst changes of the 21st century
Pour des livres reliés et plusieurs formats sympa j’utilise lulu.com le nom est bizarre mais le service est top
If you cannot make money on the most entertaining animation of the medium's entire history you are probably very bad at your job.
Venture capital killed a 151-year-old magazine that I and so many other people were proud to work for, until, of course, we were all laid off a few weeks ago.
Mm so they want journalism without journalists, images without artists, books without writers, and performances with no actors. I dunno seems like they just hate everyone and this whole thing is incompatible with humanity and should be dismantled stem to stern I dunno I dunno
