The most fascinating thing to observe here is how the book, despite the femdom twist, still uses very stock romantasy tropes and how they kinda fit together weirdly. It's very funny to have an Evil Domme Rapist in a context where the FMC is basically doing the same things but nice.

The problem is there's so little substance here BESIDES this whole matriarchy setup and the worldbuilding certainly isn't solid enough to be interesting for its own sake so like. The Gender of it all is kinda the only thing I have to connect to here.

Ggggggggraaaaaaa still reading this and becoming increasingly frustrated. The author said this whole story is meant to be about catharsis rather than making a bold feminist statement, which I think is a perfectly fine approach for your cheesy smutty femdom romance book. BUT--
