Internal medicine residents in New York completed a novel renal #POCUS curriculum with online lectures and hands-on training during a 2-week nephrology rotation. Residents showed a sustained increase in confidence post-training.

A recent survey of cardiologists at major U.S. hospitals found that while 71% believe cardiac #POCUS should be used more in clinical practice, over half reported that they don’t have the tools or systems to do it properly.

Also a good example of why the abdominal preset lacks the temporal resolution to give good cardiac images. The orientation is less of a sin IMO than the lack of resolution. But it’s a very close competition. 🫣
