If this is what winning feels like then he was right about one thing; I'm tired of "winning".

When he launched this war, the President vowed regime change and “unconditional surrender.”

What has he gotten? We went from Ayatollah Khamenei to Ayatollah Khameini Jr. - and are now negotiating over a 10-point plan written by the Iranians.

Just set a brand spanking new #Windows 11 VM and installed the March update (KB5086672), and now powershell is broken. Literally all I've done is install Windows, Firefox, the virtio drivers and some Windows updates. Everything was fine until I installed the March update.

I agree with you, but part of the reason, besides greed, is that activations are easily broken. One of the reasons photoshop got as popular as it is and crushed all the alternatives was because everybody and their dog pirated it back in the day.

On the off chance somebody needs to send me an encrypted file, I've upgraded to a new version of #AGE and switched to a new post-quantum key to go along with that upgrade. You can find my new public key on my personal site at:

Trump is asking Congress for even more money for war, offset by billions in cuts to domestic and social safety-net programs.

It makes this 1970s anti-war PSA all the more relevant today.

I've been using certbot for years and it's been awesome. The only time I ever had an issue is I had made a change to a site configuration and apparently certbot checks that, and even though the site worked fine, certbot didn't like a mistake I'd made and refused to update the cert until I fixed it.

I've never heard of Uptime Kuma before, but have been using UptimeRobot for years because they're free and external to my network, and one issue we have in eastern Kentucky is unreliable electricity. So if my power goes and the UPS runs down while I'm gone, UptimeRobot will still work.
