who was actively retconned into Crossbell and never even existed in it originally making the commentary here even more flaccid especially since it's in a series that prides itself on how naturally every location and character appearance is integrated into the narrative ( wich she is not )

resulting in a whole section that settles for going on a centrist colonizer apologistic path that's completly double standard and seems like it hates any interesting setup from CS2 and the one time it does seem to comment on it it's delivered by Juna the character-

actually seems to give a shit or outright celebrates Rean simply because "oh but he saved civilians" even though back in CS2 he says himself that the people of Crossbell where giving weird and Potentially judgmetal looks wich indicates the opposite and the rest of empire does get judged by them-

I like how this scene is completly terrible and completly embodies everything wrong with this Chapter since prior to this the games is too spinless to do anything with the fact that Rean very much took part in essentially colonizing Crossbell but somehow no one in Crossbell-
