ghastlyninja asked: Can you post the bit of listening to music on a Game Boy, but from Sonic 06? The recent Pokémon Presents Red and Blue soundtrack release reminds me of it.

this new version directs you to the projects of the newcomers RTVS in a bit more detail.
pick any spot on this infographic and you'll be sure to land on something you'll like. whereas previous variants relied on placing projects along the map based on their proximity and the amount of RTF alumni responsible for a certain project, this one just separates by genre and medium.
if you've ever found Real-Time Fandub funny, interesting, cool, or even technically impressive, you'll be pleased to know that it has over a decade of creativity behind it. this is a guide that helps you broaden your horizons beyond just the Sonic dubs. Real-Time Fandub contains multitudes.

SnapCube's Real-Time Fandub: Do No Harm | "Kingdom Hearts - Episode 5" (2025)

Anonymous asked: "If you have to recommand RTF to someone who has never watched it before, which one is it? (In other words: good RTF to begin with)" My answer follows: I'm gonna skip the SnapCube series because there aren't a lot of fandubs to begin with. There's 16 main episodes and 9-ish public practice dubs, and you're likely gonna pick Sonic '06 anyway (this isn't an offense to you, this is just a statistical fact). So let's pick one from the original series. As much as I would like to say the Dungeon Meshi fandubs due to recency bias and the first one being one of my favorites (and they're on Charlotte's new channel now), my pick for a first-timer would be Ain't Got Rhythm but it's Real-Time Fandubbed (that one time we dubbed Phineas and Ferb for money). (answer continues in next image)
This episode gets you used to some RTF staples: - an exactly equal mix of former and current RTF stars (Penny, Sammi, Oscar and Eliana aren't on the show anymore but tend to appear prominently; Charlotte, Ella, Millie and Steven are still on the show and are regulars in these dubs) - it features music which is always fun to improvise, especially if you almost know the words - a funny gaffe breaks the improv because it was livestreamed - the episode has a conceptual throughline in the form of running gags - P&F is more likely to be something you've got some familiarity with - jokes about intercourse, death, the Fourth Wall, political commentary, pop culture—it's all there baby!! - Charlotte and Ella also absolutely carry this dub. like they often do. they're a pretty great duo on the show, so any dubs with them together are bound to be really fun. I'd recommend you follow that up with the Super Mario Bros. (1993) fandub. then Driftwood Saga, then the Dungeon Meshi fandubs on Patreon. Thanks for asking! keep em coming Sidenote: one of my favorite jokes from the P&F dubs is the “'romance' in 'necromance'” one
tl;dr: if you wanna introduce Real-Time Fandub to someone for the first time, watch the Phineas and Ferb dub. youtu.be/fW4PR_Y_UC0
An illustrated depiction of Penny Parker, a fair skinned adult woman with short brown hair with a blonde balayage towards the bottom, wearing a dark sweater and suspender jeans. She's smiling at the camera while she cuts a filmstrip in half, indicating the process of editing a video. The background is an abstract pink gradient with the SnapCube icon faintly visible behind her.
