LFC supporter here - PSG the better team over two legs. Less weakness in their squad/starting XI than ours. They should win it this season or next. Fact they are oil state backed means I hope you beat them and any other state backed team

It’s all natural variance, last season we were hammered by injuries and key referee decisions. Combined with a more conservative style of play under Slot and different training style = less muscular injuries. Klopp was hated by ref’s too, think that’s helped

That’s the problem - everybody else is waiting for City slump seasons. They’ll be back bigger than ever next season no doubt and it’ll be a lock out for another 5 seasons. Sucks if your Arsenal for example

For what it’s worth general LFC perspective was you enjoyed a very good run re fitness last season and we suffered badly including with refs. Interesting it seems to have flipped this season i.e. your injuries and perception of refs - perhaps natural variance or perhaps skewed perspective
