Like yes the shoulder and chest when flexing/lifted is all one shape, yes the chest stretches when raised up. But adding the lines and making the chest look fuller and rounder is typically more appealing to the viewer & gets more positive responses

One of the things that really irritates me as an artist is when people do judgy posts or guides on anatomy in a very pretentious "I see artists do it wrong all the time" way. Art, especially provocative kinds, is all about exaggeration. Sometimes to make things look appealing you betray anatomy

I literally had to buy the old DVDs and when I wanna stream it to friends i had to pirate it, that dub is the literal PERFECT example of a good gag dub!! Ghost Stories is funny but it's over hyped and not very fun to watch full eps. I love how Sgt Frog still kept close to the script but was CRAZY
IKRRR and they used to make really awesome original trailers with original soundtracks, they actually made me go out of my way to watch a bunch of anime back in the day!
Watching series like FMA, Ouran High School Host Club, Princess Jellyfish, Sgt Frog, School Rumble, Negima!?, Rosario Vampire, Soul Eater... they have such a different vibe, it's so fun revisiting these dubs while working ๐ญ
man I reeeaaally miss the golden age of Funimation (2003-2012). Even though they had the same small pool of voice actors, every dub was guaranteed good quality and fun script adaptations- even sometimes covering ops/eds/mid ep soundtracks while keeping the JP script. There was so much passion ๐ฅฒ
