A really under-discussed benefit of having free healthcare would be not getting a marketing call from my insurance company every other day, and not needing to spend 20 minutes (and counting!) chatting with their rep/bot to try to opt out of them.

He was never going to beat Obama in popularity, and everyone was still so freakishly obsessed with performative patriotism even late into W.'s second term that you still had the "well he got us through 9/11" crowd that would prop polls up.

I appreciate the thought and want him to do terribly in every poll but this stat has so many qualifications that it's not really as striking as Newsweek wanted. There's only been three presidents with a second term SotU in the 21st century, surely there's a better stat to show how unliked he is.
