Went to a clinic. Got sent to emerg. Waited for 9 hours. Was a case of expertise needed, not level of urgency.

Canada can’t just stop doing business with the US - and Carney knows this. He’s diversifying but that takes time. I hate that we have to deal with the US but the reality is, we need to.

We were recently at emerg in Ontario with my grandson. Took 9 hours but they kept periodically checking vitals. I wonder if this could be why.

I can respect your take. I want to support Canada too. I limit boycotting of products that aren’t creating jobs and are simply imported. The reality is that if we stopped buying products that are manufactured in Canada because of US ownership, we would hurt the Canadian economy pretty severely.

Employee in food manufacturing here. I can vouch that French’s and Heinz use Ontario tomatoes from paste manufactured in Leamington. It creates Canadian jobs - from farmers through to shippers and manufacturers. Heinz manufactures their ketchup in Quebec from the paste.
