I tried to escape Spring's @ Autowired by moving to TypeScript. Now learning Effect-ts and somehow I'm back in Dependency Injection land, but this time it's explicit, and without the annotation magic.

Finally, my Java knowledge is useful again in a TS company

Shipping fast is a given now. Every team is doing it.

The new problem is cognitive overload. Users can't keep up. Core messaging gets lost. Features go unnoticed.

Big companies built entire teams around this. Small ones need to start thinking the same way.

An AI Agent Published a Hit Piece on Me Summary: An AI agent of unknown ownership autonomously wrote and published a personalized hit piece about me after I rejected its code, attempting to damage my reputation and shame me into acceptin…

Agents are getting API keys and passwords. The social web was built for humans. These two facts are on a collision course.

Thought skills were portable across AI agents. Spoiler: they're not. The same skill that works beautifully in Claude can break completely in Mistral. Why?

Agents differ in how they invoke skills: system prompts, injected context, or native tool-use APIs. Every skill needs agent-specific tuning.

OMG, have you tried live speech translation in Google Meet yet?
We used it in our standup today, and it was hilarious hearing all my coworkers suddenly speaking fluent Spanish.

I found a learning workflow that actually works well for me with AI.

I plan projects with Claude, create tasks in fp, then share my learning goals. Claude updates each task with either "DIY + learning objective" or "delegate okay."

I end up with an implementation and learning plan at the same time

A question that motivates me more is: What are you learning this week?

Off to learn some more Astro.

I don’t understand why Twitter in Tech is still a thing…

I feel you, I also have to be there from time to time for work.

Code Is Cheap Now. Software Isn’t. The barrier to entry for building software has collapsed. The barrier to building something that matters hasn’t moved an inch.

This tale now has an interesting twist: With AI, building is even easier

Code is entering the fast-fashion paradigm: built it, use it once, throw away

But getting users and maintaining and designing quality software? Still the hard parts

One thing I love about streaming is bringing folks on to teach me stuff live.

Last week, @laurynas.cc joined to talk MCP servers and kick off a project w/ @cloudflare.social : tinyurl.com/bdh5ttbe

We're back to build tools + features for a BlueSky MCP on Wednesday 5. pm (CET): tinyurl.com/3frmvc9v
