I understand this completely. I am going to see it on Friday with my mum, would it be helpful for me to let you know afterwards how I found it? X

I’ve sent this to my husband, he went back to uni in September to train to be a barrister and he’s wanting to go into criminal law. Works nicely with forensic OT 😂
This is such an eloquent and insightful piece of writing Suz. I stand with you 💚
Nice to see you posting again 🙂
I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced that Suz. Sending a hug your way x
When you get to book MOHO EXPLOR training then get a bit too excited 🤣. Happy Friday!
Co-occupation at its finest… a weekend of pizza making and decorating, potato and sunflower planting, and visiting some swans. Special thanks to my mum for making my little boy his own allotment plot and removing the barriers to him being able to access it and participate 🥔🌻🍕🦢
Sorry to hear it’s been feeling so overwhelming but nice to see you post x
Happy birthday Sue, hope you have a wonderful day x
Definitely not subtle dungarees today 🤣💚
One is going to work with me, it can sit on my desk as a reminder 🙂. Have a lovely rest of your weekend, it’s sunny and I have my galaxy dungarees on (all the happy vibes) x
I genuinely loved this tonight, thank you so much for the opportunity and for introducing me to such a powerful poem. It was lovely to meet you properly 💚 x
I have a cherry blossom tree embroidery to start! Just need to work it all out, I’m used to cross stitch but this is totally different. I love that! 🙂
I had a conversation abouts daffs with a patient during the week, went in the next day and she’d been out on a walk to take photos of daffs on site so she could show me and continue the conversation 🥹💚
Massive congratulations 💚 this will be wonderful x
Sounds like an excellent day 🙂
Oooh that looks like a lot of fun. Hope they have a fab time 🙂. So grateful it’s a dry day!
I’m on annual leave this week so took my kids to my mum’s allotment, they loved it (nice bit of proprioceptive input for my 7 year old plus coming home with his own veg for lunch!) 🙂
Thanks Sue! That’s very helpful advice. Excited to see where things go 🙂
That’s a wonderful project to be involved in, definitely exciting times ahead! I truly believe it has so much potential in our settings, we just might have to think a little more outside the box for some things (that isn’t a bad thing though) 🙂
Hi Lou, this is something we are looking at as an OT team currently 🙂
Access to work I applied for in September and I’m still waiting. I did get a laptop and also printing expenses from DSA, they gave me a budget for ink and paper. Also some loop ear plugs which have been fab. I found the whole process so difficult and just hoop after hoop to jump through. Hugs x
Some of it was helpful. The mental health mentor… not even slightly helpful. They kept trying to do CBT with me which when I pointed out wasn’t supportive due to being neurodivergent they couldn’t be flexible and offer an alternative. I also had to be reassessed when my needs changed…
Hey. I did in the 2nd year of my MSc 🙂 x
Well done Sarah 🙂
Today I officially documented my first MOHOST as a qualified OT! So nice to be able to put theory into practice (although someone please tell me I’ll get quicker at doing them 🤣)
Hey, if you have DSA they might be able to fund taxis. Could you possibly ask to work one of the days from home to give you a chance at recharging your batteries? I appreciate it probably all seems very overwhelming and scary. Sending hugs x
Very powerful, certainly made me think whilst reading 💚
Whoooop! Massive congratulations 💚. I remember that feeling so well!
I promise it’s worth it! Keep going! 🙂
